With BFG EX-1200 Power Supply, BFG is introducing the Modular, Frequency Conversion Power Supply: The EX Series. By using Frequency Conversion technology, the EX1200 power supply can actually emulate virtually any size power supply and therefore be at least 80% efficient, even with loads as low as 10% of the unit’s maximum capability. continue reading…
BFG LS-550 power supply is part of BFG’s LS Series which features a typical efficiency of up to 85% so more power is converted to DC than many other power supplies on the market.
BFG Thermal Control Technology ensures that the unit runs as quietly as possible by varying the speed of the fan in response to load and temperature.
Single +12V rail, over-volt, over-current and short circuit protection provides rock solid reliability and safety.
LS550 power supply works with AGP, PCI, PCI Express®, includes two PCI Express Connectors for Dual Graphics Card Support and features new 8-Pin PCI Express Connector. continue reading…
Useful for electronics hobbyists, this linear workbench desktop power supply circuit converts a high input voltage (12V) from the SMPS of a PC into low output voltage (1.25 to 9 volts). An adjustable three-pin voltage regulator chip LM317T (IC1) is used here to provide the required voltages. The LM317T regulator, in TO-220 pack, can handle current of up to 1 amp in practice. continue reading…
